Bible FAQ with Kirk Van is an ongoing podcast with the focus of providing brief, thoughtful, biblical answers to listener questions about God, the Bible, spiritual life, and related topics. Episodes are generally about 30-45 minutes long and available via audio and video formats. Listeners are encouraged to send their own questions to have answered in the program.

Kingdom Character is a 90 day Gospel devotional series based on the Gospels. The upcoming book is currently in the process of being reviewed for publication.

More about Kingdom Character… Each daily devotion features a brief essay spotlighting a passage, principle, or theme from a linked chapter in the Gospels.  The purpose of the book is to bring focus to attributes of true believers while inspiring, encouraging, and motivating you in your walk with the Lord.

MarriageMoment.org is a ministry dedicated to sharing information and resources for protecting and strengthening marriages. The website contains over 100 original articles on the topic of marriage and family representing a variety of different perspectives including biblical principles, practical advice, research findings, statistics, counseling/psychology information, and cultural viewpoints.

Bio for Kirk VanOoteghem

Kirk VanOoteghem has been passionately involved in study of the Scripture and ministry work for all of his adult life. He serves as Executive Pastor to River of Life in Muncie, Indiana (2004-present) engaged primarily in pastoral counseling, Bible teaching, and operational oversight. Kirk is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theological Studies from Columbia Biblical Seminary of Columbia International University. He also holds a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Belhaven University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Ball State University, and a Bachelor of Science with majors in Education, History, and Religious Studies – also from Ball State University. He became a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International in 2000 and has been ordained since 2007.

Kirk is a devoted husband and father. His wife, Tammy, and their three kids are all actively involved in the church community and ministry. Kirk enjoys studying, teaching, and writing – especially in the areas of Bible, theology, apologetics, and counseling. He is also accomplished in the field of Information Technology. Kirk’s other interests and pursuits include reading, nature, and outdoor adventures.
